This is the best book money can buy on APT programming of CNC machines. Well written, many examples, and test problems at the end of every chapter. As a graphical CAM system programmer for many years, I desired to improve my APT programming skills, and this book helped me. APT is an essential tool in my bag of tricks. I highly recommend learning APT to any CNC programmer looking to expand his knowledge, and gain insights to what is really happening behind the scenes of his graphical CAM system of choice. Understanding how to program in APT will increase your 3D spacial visualization abilities, and your creativity in tackling problems. Maybe if more programmers these days learned APT, we would have a better pool of talent.
