Great book!

I discovered this book on a Canadian road trip and had to buy two more to give it as gifts because I couldn't part with my copy. (They loved it!) I highly recommend this book for anyone who does outreach or works with the public and education. Funny, sharp, and fun! 5 stars!

Outstanding read

This is a terrific book for anyone who is seriously interested in growing small communities. While the 13 things we do that hurt our communities might be "obvious" I found things I was unconsciously thinking that are damaging. Really good way to start conversations in a community.

A must read for all Elected Officials

Doug Griffiths hits all 13 ways right on the nail. His insight as to the ways, opens ones eyes to look deeper into your own community's soul. Once you understand who and identify their way to kill your community, you can better prepare to work around the roadblocks that are set up. I applaud this relatively young politician to put his findings into this book that will assist all of us other politicians in our jobs. Thank you.
