Complete & easy to understand muscular & metabolic disorders

I am a chiropractic student and have found this book extremely helpful in my studies. Not only is it easy to understand and follow due to the professionally drawn anatomical illustrations, but it also helps in diagnosing all types of disorders that I am studying.

Have another Netter-Better!!!!!

I cannot imagine how anyone could not just like it but rather be amazed by it. Frank was/is the go-to guy in anatomic art and this is part of his classic and justly praised work. This is the same review you will see for each of the books (from me) because the entire set and pretty much all of his publication fall in this category - and this is a branch of art I have studied and learned from for over 50 years. As to specifics: it is accurate, well presented so as to help the medical student or professional spot details and abnormalities with ease (and shows many of the latter). Grey's is fine, but Netter's is the one to buy/use/show patients with more detailed questions and introduce students too prior to work with a cadaver. I like these!!!!!

The book arrived quickly and in the condition described. The CIBA collection books are a nice balance between Netter's all pictures Atlas of Human Anatomy, and countless other anatomy books with their focus being detailed descriptions.

About the Author
Andr�s Solimano is founder and Chairman of the International Center for Globalization and Development. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr Solimano was a Regional Advisor at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, Country Director at the World Bank and Executive Director at the Inter-American Development Bank. He was also Director of the project on International Mobility of Talent with the United Nations University-World Institute of Economic Research and served as Executive Director for Chile at the Board of the Inter-American Development Bank. Dr Solimano has written extensively on international migration, talent mobility, growth, inequality, political economy, macroeconomics and international development.

Procurement is not an easy topic. IT Contracts are hard to review and understand. You must be on top of technology and familiar with contract terminology. "Contract Management" by Nainil and Monil Chheda covers the fundamentals of contract review. From the basics of initiating a discussion to the contract finalization stage, this book takes you through the step by step process of understanding deals and executing contracts. The best part I liked was the easy to use checklist at the end of the book that lists the various topic items one needs to cover for a successful contract. I am new to procurement, and this is the perfect book for someone like me.

This is an exceptional book and a great read. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone who handles contractual situations. Contract Management provides a resourceful guide for how to handle contracts through the various stages. Those in procurement or marketing will find the insight offered very realistic, applicable and useful to their business situations.

Professional advice, easy to understand

By far the most sophisticated and comprehensive contract related book that I have came across, yet also one of the easiest to read and understand at the same time. Though some of it did go over my head a bit, I definitely need to give a lot of credit to the author's writing style for helping me to be able to comprehend terminology and concepts that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to understand, or which would have taken much longer for me to grasp.

The section of this book that comes to mind when I think about it would definitely have to be Chapter 4: "Developing a Robust Contact Strategy" as it is a great testament to the professionalism and expertise of the author and his view of being as efficient as possible, in an effort to save time and money.

To say that Contract Management is a good book would be an understatement, it has answered all my questions and gone way above and beyond what I was initially expecting and I simply can't give it any less than the 5 stars it deserves.

The universality of the human condition and the humanitarian goal of psychotherapeutic healing pose an ethical mandate to search for common threads of meaning across the paradigmatic spectrum. Internalization addresses that mandate through elucidation of concepts as applied to a variety of theoretical contexts. Through this comparative method, the authors hope to contribute to the self-examination of the psychotherapeutic enterprise, and to elucidate the mechanisms underlying therapeutic efficacy.

About the Author
Kenneth C. Wallis, M.D. is a practising psychiatrist in Salt Lake City, Utah and Sacramento, California and is Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Utah. His special interest in teaching the history and origins of psychoanalysis, analysis of dreams, the works of Freud and Jung, and biological psychiatry is well recognized by graduate students, trainees and clinicians.

James L. Poulton, Ph.D. is a practising psychologist in Salt Lake City, Utah and is an Adjunct Professor in Psychology and a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at the University of Utah. He has taught graduate and post-graduate seminars in both the theory and practice of psychotherapy. With a background in both philosophy and psychology, Dr. Poulton is well known for his thoughtful approach to the problems of psychology and psychoanalytic theory.

Facsimile Edition with a "Secret"

This is not a reprint of a single novel but a facsimile or replica of the entire original issue of The Spider (vol. 19, no. 3, Dec. 1939) featuring the epic novel `Satan's Murder Machines' by Norvell W. Page (writing under the name Grant Stockbridge). Thus, the rest of the contents of the magazine are also included: "The Book Shop Killings" by Charles Boswell and "Mr. X's Magic Corpse" by Moran Tudury, plus the original pulp illustrations (and several quaint ads: "Ankles Swollen, Backache, Nervous, Kidneys Strained?" . . . "I Talked with God!"). At the back of the book is a bonus short story by Norvell Page, "Crime's Christmas Carols" (reprinted from Detective Tales, May 1939).

Why did they reproduce the entire magazine instead of re-typesetting the Spider novel with a modern font and design? Well, for me there's the appeal of reading the story exactly the way it was originally published, but without the nauseating mildew of a crumbling collectible. But more important, what seems to be distinctive about this edition is that it stands as evidence for a "trade secret" concerning Stan Lee, revealed by Joel Frieman in the added preface, "How to Build a Hero."

Hint: Stan Lee must have meant this book when he wrote, in 'Son of Origins of Marvel Comics': "Historians of the future must know that they can trust this book, have faith in its pictures, and treat its text as gospel" (quote added to this Ramble House edition, at the end of the novel, p. 86).
